R-FRAC - A Govt of UP Enterprise

Purpose -
Proposal for Cluster Development Activity for Lucknow Mango Cluster (Under NHB)

Challenge -
Despite the GI (Geographical Indicator) tag for Dushehri mango, farmers are yet to realize the benefits from mango production. Cluster level efforts needed.

Solution -
A comprehensive proposal including all aspects of an all-round development (production, post harvest and marketing) of the Lucknow Cluster was prepared.

Result -
The client (R-FRAC) won the award of Cluster Development Agency. Vidaksh is now a consultant for further cluster activities.

Institute of Agricultural Sciences (BHU)

Purpose -
"Development of sea transport protocol for trial shipment for the export of green chilli from Eastern UP to Dubai")

Challenge -
While Eastern UP produces good quality of vegetables, export consignments are often rejected for missing quality parameters/documentation.

Solution -
End-to-End process mapping right from harvest to export destination, with clear quality/documentation gap identification and intervention planning framework.

Result -
Robust Model/Framework - and clearly laid out intervention plan submitted, number of export consignment has increased from that region.

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

Purpose -
Information Collection and Analysis of Smart Foot Chain (Agritech) market in India to help Japanese startups explore the Indian market.

Challenge -
Indian agritech market is at an early growth stage. Complexity to navigate through market forces, and govt policies/schemes make it difficult for foreign players.

Solution -
A detailed information collection and analysis exercise including all stakeholders - end beneficiaries, value chain players, policymakers with actionable insights .

Result -
Realistic/actionable insights on feasible market/solution/market entry aspect likely to help the client move to the next step in exploring the Indian market.
